The BTech programmes are focused on rail infrastructure, rail systems and communications engineering, while the MBA programmes are focused on transportation and supply chain management.
The National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI) in Vadodara has launched seven new programmes at the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) level. The programmes consist of two at the undergraduate level (BTech) and five at the postgraduate level (2 MBA and 3 MSc).
According to the Ministry of Railways, the BTech programmes are focused on rail infrastructure, rail systems and communications engineering, while the MBA programmes are focused on transportation and supply chain management. The MSc programmes are focused on systems engineering and integration, systems and analytics, policy and economics.
Also, the MSc programme on Systems Engineering and Integration is offered in collaboration with the University of Birmingham, and the students will get international exposure.

IGNOU admission 2020: The Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU has extended the application deadline for admission for the July session till November 15. Earlier, the last date to submit the form was on October 31. Interested, eligible candidates can apply at ignou.ac.in. The admission process was earlier extended due to present COVID-19 situations.
According to IGNOU, “This extension of the last date shall not apply to certificate and semester-based programmes, that is, MP, MPB, PGDMM, PGDFM, PGDHRM, PGDOM, PGDFMP, DBPOFA, PGDIS, MCA, BCA, and all certificate and awareness programmes of six months duration or less.”

Mi Scholarship
This scholarship is meant to support the higher education of academically meritorious students who come from economically weaker sections of the society. The students studying in class 11 or 12 and undergraduate level can avail benefits under this scheme. They must have passed their class 10 or 12 exam with at least 70 per cent marks.

This scholarship supports the education of children of drivers or owners of three-wheeler vehicles. The annual family income must be less than or equal to Rs 3 lakh from all sources.

Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme for Class 11 Students
The ‘Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme’ comprises a diverse variety of scholarships that includes scholarships for class 11 students. Under this scholarship, the students who have passed Class 10 with at least 75 per cent marks can avail financial aid for their studies in Class 11. The annual family income must be less than Rs 5 lakh from all sources.

This is one of the scholarships offered under the STFC India Meritorious Scholarship Programme. Under this scholarship, the children or wards of transport drivers/owners-cum-drivers will be awarded with financial assistance to pursue their ITI or polytechnic or diploma programme after Class 10. The students are required to have obtained at least 60 per cent marks in class 10. Also, the annual family income must be less than or equal to Rs 4 lakh from all sources.

EWS Scholarship for Class 10 Passed Students
Under this scholarship, the students from economically weaker sections of the society will be provided online learning and financial support for their studies in class 11 and 12. The students are required to have passed class 10 with at least 50 per cent marks. They must be pursuing studies in class 11 or 12 in regular mode from a recognised board/institution. The annual family income must be less than Rs 6 lakh from all sources.

Allahabad University has released the Allahabad University 2020 cut-off marks on October 29 for BCom at the official website. The Allahabad University cut-off marks have been released for different categories as per the Allahabad University 2020 counselling schedule.
Candidates securing marks above or equal to the ones provided on the Allahabad University cut-off in the entrance test can participate in the counselling.
